A new Work For Health Framework

Work Design for Health

One of the most crucial aspects of any thriving workplace is the health and wellbeing of employees.  A focus on employee health can result in significantly enhanced employee engagement and productivity.  But it also creates a positive safety culture and atmosphere for all employees.  So how do you achieve it?  How can you provide your workers with the right tools for their own mental health toolkit?

Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and MIT Sloan School of Management researchers recently released an innovative and forward-thinking framework.   The basis is amending workplace environments to ease burdens experienced by staff and to support employee health and wellbeing.

This framework is known as the “Work Design for Health.”  It includes a toolbox and website to assist in educating and guiding employers to identify potential areas for improvement within their own businesses.

Read on to learn more about this framework and how your organisation could improve.
